Alex and I want to thank everyone who came out and commented on my blog during Cans for Comments. We took 42 cans of food over to the local food bank this morning and they so appreciative. It felt so good to be helping out those in a less fortunate situation that we decided we will be doing this again in mid January, so stay tuned for more on that.

Winter has hit the NEK (North East Kingdom) of Vermont and it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas :) I'm not a huge fan of snow, but right before Christmas I don't mind quite as much. Today, I babysat my nephews and the three of us took turns taking pictures for the good part of an hour. This week's theme is Candy Canes, so I thought I'd share a couple of shots I took for it, along with a couple of wintery/christmasy pictures..

Here's my third blog post for cans for comments. Today I had the opportunity to take some pictures for a friend's baby. She wasn't too happy with us, but in the end, the pictures turned out pretty great. She's so beautiful, just like her mom.
Welcome to day 2 of the 10 day blogging for Cans for Comments.
Well Im back from our mini trip over to the middle of the state to visit with our friend Josh and take in the University of Vermont v Dartmouth College basketball game. Being a Vermonter, and knowing a former UVM basketball star, Alex was cheering for UVM. Me, the Canadian with no ties to either team, was kinda hoping for Dartmouth to pull out a win at home. It was a close game, but UVM won in the end. Unfortunately, I have no pictures for you and my excuse isn't that good so all I can say is sorry. It was cold and we weren't sure cameras were allowed, and I didn't want to have to walk all the way back to the car to bring my camera back if they weren't. :( Sorry for that.
But since I don't want to blog without any pictures, I'm sharing a few random photos from the past couple of months since I've been such a bad blogger.
The first few are from a recent visit with Alex's extended family... some of these I took (they have my sig in the corner) and other ones other family members took.
