Scot's Bay with the girls

While I was home, I had a chance to catch up with some of my closest friends. Now that we're scattered all over 3 different countries, getting together is much more complicated than it used to be - when we lived in Chase, Christopher and RoJo and the big question was which dorm to meet in. Now, visits require planning sessions, plane tickets and road trips. This is the first time all 4 of us have been together since Ashley's wedding last fall, and there won't be another visit with all 4 of us until next summer when Christina's home again from England.

When we all reunited in Dartmouth, the first thing we decided to do was road trip down to where it all began. Wolfville. Scotskins at Joe's. Scot's Bay. Star Jumping. Hennigars for ice cream. It was definitely a blast from the past kind of day.

Here are some of my favorite shots from that day.

Canada's Ocean Playground

As I've mentioned before, I absolutely LOVE the beach, especially the shore along the Northumberland Straight in Nova Scotia. Here are a few shots of one of the many amazing sunsets I got to enjoy while I was home. It's interesting to watch the progression of colors.

Water Baby

Some of you may remember Abi from a previous post (here). While I was home this summer, Abi and her mom came to visit me at the cottage and we had a blast playing in the water, eating watermelon and catching up on everything new in our lives.

Of course I could let an opportunity to get more shots of Abi pass me by! Here are a few of my favorites.

sunset beach

I just returned from an amazing 2 weeks in Nova Scotia. My grandparents have a cottage on the Northumberland Strait and I definitely took full advantage while I was home. The company was perfect, the weather was gorgeous and you can't beat the sunsets! I took a ton of pics but here's one to tide everyone over till I have a chance to work on them :)
