Tis the Season....

I'm writing my first blog post of the cans for comments drive a few hours early, because I'm not going to be home tomorrow to blog. I'm heading to work with Alex tomorrow, so I can do some Christmas shopping in West Leb and then we're taking in the Darmouth/UVM basketball game after work and staying overnight with our friend Josh. I promise to be back on Tuesday, hopefully with some shots from the game and the Green Mountains.

For tonight, I leave you with a couple of shots for this weeks theme: 'Tis the Season.

Cans for Comments 2009

As American Thanksgiving approaches, Alex and I are reminded of how much amazing support we've been given in the past year from our family and friends. We've been inspired to give back by an amazing photographer and friend, Carol-Ann. She has challenged bloggers from the Weddingbells forum community to donate cans to their local food bank for every comment left on our blogs. As any blogger knows, it's a great feeling to get comments on your blog. So from Dec 1 - Dec 10th, I will be blogging every day and donating 1 can to the local food bank for every comment, question or compliment left on my blog. I have also changed the settings on my blog so anyone can comment.

10 comments = 10 items donated to local people in need

Please help me help our community!

Space Cowboy

This past weekend, I went to the state dance festival that my sister-in-law runs every year and I grabbed this shot for the theme this week - available light.

At dusk

Since you all know I've sucked lately at blogging, I'm going to say I'm sorry and try to get better. We finally upgraded the ram in our computer, so as of tonight, editing is going much smoother and a heck of a lot faster. Tonight (okay really this am), I'm sharing some photos with you from a shoot I did near dusk while I was home in August (okay I know, I suck). Back when we were at Acadia, we used to go on photo adventures all the time, so this brought back a lot of amazing memories of great times.

Canadian Thanksgiving

only a month late...

This year, we were home in NS over the Thanksgiving holiday and were able to gather the clan for a thanksgiving feast. Here are a few shots from dinner :)
